It could also be a house. Sex in da house.

This piece was intended to provoke thought, encourage discussion and educate.
Fun fact: The largest sex organ is actually the skin.

Rude, uneducated comments will be hidden.

You know when you fav this, I'm going to thank you for liking my Sex Organ. :D

such a wonderfully clever piece! of course, people are instantly drawn to it unconciously when they see the word "sex", but when you really get into it, the message is so much more intriguing.

it's a fun thing to look at as well, with all the different fonts and blue tones. i love the slanted appeal, it's much more interesting then just making it straight across.

my favorite part is the last line that ties the entire idea together - "size does matter". it's humorous yet good advice. if i ever had to teach a sex-ed class, this would be hanging up in the front of my classroom. :giggle:

Um...

Just wanted to say to the critique =xenagurl750

When you said:
"...it's much more interesting then just making it straight across."

You misspelled the word than.

You meant to say:
"...it's much more interesting THAN just making it straight across."

I know it's not that important. But misspelling such a word as 'than' is very unprofessional. Making me question why you're a critique in the first place.

Sometimes our fingers move faster than our mind will comprehend. It's not a reflection of intelligence or lack of professionalism, but rather that she can type really fast with few mistakes.
Unprofessional, is commenting on someone's critique with no context to the work at hand, is inappropriate, nor required.

FYI. In your query "Making me question why you're a critique in the first place." A critique is a comment left by a critic. Also, there should have been a comma after the word question and this should have ended in a question mark, which by your standards… but, thanks for joining deviantGrammAr.

True you are about critic. I just don't use the word often and therefore use critique instead.
However, you are incorrect about the comma and question mark.
And don't worry. I was once a master of English grammar. However, being that I'm a simple commenter. I have no need to care for my own text.

And, btw. I was just giving her or him or whoever a hard time. And yes, I don't take the time to check anything whence writing comments. For it's only a comment, and nothing more.

I love this!
I really like the hierarchy of elements. How first I see Sex Organ and Size Does Matter, but then you see that it's actually the brain. And if it didnt have the "stop being so small minded" line, i would think that this is more a message that penis size isnt what's important its the psychological. But then you add that line and it adds a whole new level of meaning.

I am wondering about the fan-like element in the bottom right corner, I am not sure its necessary or if it even enhances the design. The other thing that might be of some concern is the few bits of very light dark blue type on the black background. It's ok on screen, but print would present a problem (though I dont know if you are printing or not).

Overall I think its a very nice design - once again, I think I mentioned this to you before, I really like your type layouts and the dynamicness of your elements on the page. And I love in this design that its meaning develops the more you look at it and discover new bits of information/type.

:-)

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to post such a wonderful comment/critique.

As for the bottom right corner (the fan like element), it's an inverted exclamation point that I wanted to try and use as a visual lead out of the poster. The more I look at it the less I like it and maybe it's a little too powerful and would serve the overall design best if it were smaller. I'll leave it for a day or so and think about it. :)

I love the message and the colors. Relating 'size doesn't matter' with brains is a great idea. Well done! :)

Thank you. The initial concept came to me when viewing negative comments regarding nudity and art.
